Post a Grant Announcement
This function is restricted to authorized administrators within the University of Gondar Research Directorate and affiliated units.
Who Can Post a Grant?
Only users with “Funder” or “Administrator” privileges can post grant calls. This includes:
- UoG Research Directorate Managers
- Designated College/Institute Research Coordinators
- Authorized representatives of partner organizations with a signed MoU
How to Post a Grant (For Authorized Users):
- Log in with your administrator credentials.
- Navigate to the “Admin Dashboard”.
- Select “Create New Call for Proposals (CFP)”.
- Fill in the CFP details:
- Call Title & Reference Number
- Funding Type (Internal, External, Partnership)
- Eligibility Criteria (Colleges, Departments, Career Stage)
- Key Dates (Opening date, Deadline, Review period)
- Budget Range & Thematic Areas
- Application Guidelines & Templates (Upload PDF)
- Review Rubric & Scoring Criteria
- Set visibility (Publish Now or Schedule for a future date).
- Notify Applicants: Use the “Notify Eligible PIs” function to broadcast the call via the portal and email.
For External Funders/Partners:
If you are an external organization (e.g., NGO, foundation, industry partner) wishing to advertise a grant opportunity exclusively to UoG researchers:
- Submit a Request: Send an official request to the UoG Research Directorate (
partnership@uog.edu.et). - Provide Grant Details: Include the full CFP document, eligibility criteria, budget, and deadlines.
- Sign a Brief Agreement: A simple MoU or letter of collaboration may be required.
- UoG Administrators will review and, if approved, post the call on your behalf within the system.
Important Notes:
- All grant postings must align with UoG research priorities and policies.
- Financial and audit rules must be clarified before posting (overheads, reporting requirements).
- Each call will have a dedicated FAQ section where administrators can post answers to applicant queries.
